FIGURES COME UNPAINTED
 
A saddle trap and killer who is not too bright. Played by Josh Brolin. Its interesting that the character is only seen riding in shots where its difficult to see details and so we have sculpted the figure leading his horse for something a little different.  
 
To make the reins accurately simply cut some thin strands of paper and glue them in place. It looks a lot better than trying to cast something so thin. This is also similar to the rope that he uses as a sling for the Henry Rifle that he uses. Simply use cotton thread to make this.
